Most little bulldogs get walked around on a leash, go to the park, play fetch with their masters, and eat when they are fed. But not this bulldog! This Sunday afternoon, Caldecott Honor artist DAVID EZRA STEIN will introduce us to the independent pooch who is the star of his new book I’m My Own Dog. This little bulldog does it ALL on his own. He throws his own stick, licks his own face, he even has his own house! But there is one spot, in the middle of his back, that he just can’t reach. So one day, he lets a human scratch it. And, of course, the guy follows him home. Now this bulldog has a human to train! Dog lovers of all ages will revel in the humorous role-reversal that ensues as this dog teaches his human all the skills he needs to be a faithful companion. Don’t miss the talented and delightful DAVID EZRA STEIN as he introduces his wonderful new book, answers questions for the audience, and signs copies of all his wonderful titles. Treats for humans will be served!
