On Saturday, March 10th, Books of Wonder is pleased to invite you to meet 6 talented authors with great new books that are sure to be a hit on any middle grader’s reading list. Best-selling author, artist, and former Books of Wonder employee, NICK BRUEL will bring take us on the campaign trail with everyone’s favorite naughty feline in Bad Kitty for President; debut author THANHHA LAI will share her 2012 Newberry Honor Book, Inside Out and Back Again; author BARRY LYGA will introduce The Mad Mask, book two of his thrilling Archvillain series; LESLIE MARGOLIS author of over 50 books for young readers will share her second Maggie Brooklyn Mystery, Vanishing Act; former Books of Wonder employee and New York Times best-selling author and artist, GEORGE O’CONNOR, will take us into the dark world of Hades: Lord of the Dead, the fourth volume in his very popular graphic novel series, Olympians; author PHOEBE STONE will present her latest novel, The Boy on Cinnamon Street, a heartfealt story of a 7th grade girl’s struggle to confront the painful family secret she’s hiding from. This exciting cast of middle grade authors and their enthralling stories are sure to make for an afternoon that will leave young imaginations soaring. Join us at noon as each author presents their latest book, takes questions from the audience, and signs copies of all their great works. Ages 8-12.
