Meet The Class of 2K12 @Booksofwonder !
Tonight starting at 6pm Books of Wonder is overjoyed to welcome 10 debut authors of middle grade and teen fiction to an annual event where we invite some of this years class of new authors to share their debut novels. MEGAN BOSTIC takes us on the journey of a lifetime in Never Eighteen; HUNTLEY FITZPATRICK shares her tale of forbidden love with My Life Next Door; A.C. GAUGHEN steals from the rich and gives to the poor in Scarlet, the story of one of Robin Hood’s thieves; LYNDA MULLALY HUNT presents One for the Murphys a moving story of a foster families love for it’s newest member; LYNNE KELLY shares Chained the touching story of a boy and the elephant in his care; PATRICE LYLE tempts us with Lethally Blonde the story of a teen girl’s unlikely deal with the devil; REBBECA SERLE spins her tale of Shakespeare re-imagined in When You Were Mine; SARVENAZ TASH launches us on an adventurous journey with The Mapmaker and the Ghost; SARAH TREGAY introduces Love and Leftovers the story of a teen girl making her way in a new town; and MEREDITH ZEITLIN makes us laugh out loud with her hilarious high school drama Freshman Year & Other Unnatural Disasters. Be sure to join us starting at 6pm for what is sure to be an evening of great books with some wonderful debut others. The authors will all present their books, answer questions from fans, and sign copies of their work. Ages 8-14. Thursday, June 7th, 6-8pm.
