Picture books stir up young readers’ imaginations with wonderful images to see and captivating stories to hear. This weekend, we have 8 talented picture book creators coming together to give your young readers and listeners an marvelous introduction to their newest tales. Make your way to Books of Wonder this Saturday, October 20th at noon, when these wonderful authors and artists will begin sharing their new books. Be there as author KELLY BINGHAM & Caldecott Medalist PAUL O. ZELINSKY give us a giant case of the giggles with their hilarious, unconventional ABC book, Z Is for Moose; award-winning author/artist and former Books of Wonder bookseller JASON CHIN captivates with the epic saga of life’s diversity in Island: A Story of the Galapagos; debut picture book author KATE EGAN & illustrator DAN YACCARINO get us moving with Kate and Nate Are Running Late!; author of over 200 books for children SUSAN HOOD shares 2 of her most recent works, a French version of the tooth fairy — Tooth Mouse, and an early Halloween scare — Just say Boo!; author KATE HOSFORD shares her new book of boundless wonder, Infinity and Me; and NY Times bestselling author and artist STEPHEN SAVAGE pulls us into the harbor with Little Tug, the tales of a little tugboat with a big heart. 8 authors and artists with great new books make for a true bonanza! Beginning at noon they will all share their new tales, take questions from the audience, and sign copies of all their wonderful works. Ages 3-6. Saturday, October 20th, 12-2pm.
