Born in 1880, Helen Keller was the fist deaf and blind person to earn a Bachelors of Arts degree, became a progressive political figure well ahead of her time, and wrote an impressive 12 books. Your young readers and listeners will relish hearing about this amazing woman from this author & artist team that have brought her compelling story to vivid life. Beginning at noon DOREEN RAPPAPORT & MATT TAVARES will present their new book, take questions from the audience, and sign copies of all their wonderful works. Ages 3-8. Saturday, October 6th, 12-2pm.
