The Art of Julia Child @Booksofwonder !

This Saturday, August 18th, Books of Wonder is delighted to bring young readers and foodies of all ages two wonderful picture books all about culinary legend Julia Child. Please join us at noon as author and illustrator JESSIE HARTLAND takes us on a tasty journey with her picture book biography, Bon Appetit! The Delicious LIfe of Julia Child — a wonderful combination of playful illustrations and delightful stories about the life of Julia Child. Then author SUSANNA REICH introduces us to a very special French cat in Minette’s Feast: The Delicious Story of Julia Child and Her Cat. In a fun twist, the story is told through the eyes of Minette, as her owner is in the kitchen learning to master delicious French dishes. Be prepared for a delectably entertaining afternoon as these two wonderful talents share their books and we all celebrate the life of an American icon. The authors will present their books, answer questions from the audience, and sign copies of their titles. Ages 3-7. Saturday, August 18th, 12-2pm.
