Saturday, June 23rd, Books of Wonder is delighted to bring you and your young readers an afternoon event featuring three picture book creators who will all be joining us to share their great new works. Illustrator and now debut authorFRANK W. DORMER tells us all about The Obstinate Pen, a pen with a mind of its own that decides it knows what it wants to write!; Caldecott Honor artistPETER McCARTY will have little ones hopping for joy as he introduces Chloe, a little bunny with ten older siblings and ten younger siblings who’d rather be playing than watching the TV that her dad has brought home; and New York Times bestselling illustrator TAEEUN YOO stretches her talents in her latest creation, You Are a Lion! And Other Fun Yoga Poses, a wonderfully illustrated collection of poems and yoga poses that will have your youngsters flying like a butterfly, hissing like a snake, and roaring like a lion. Beginning at 12pm these wonderful picture book creators will share their new books, take questions from the audience, and sign copies of all their wonderful books. Ages 3-6. Saturday, June 23rd, 12-2pm.
