@BooksofWonder is thrilled to invite young inquisitive and artistic minds to a four session workshop in Origami, the art of paper folding, led by New York based paper engineer and pop-up book creator extraordinaire Sam Ita. During each session Sam Ita will teach young artists a common technique which they will then apply to creating their own simple model. These fun and exciting workshops and the 300-year-old art of Origami is great for hand eye co-ordination, concentration, problem solving; the workshops will also give kids a basis to learn more difficult origami on their own. In order to ensure that each child gets enough individual time with Sam, registration is limited and seats are on a first come, first serve basis.
