Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, fantasy fans, lovers of contemporary fiction, and science fiction readers, be sure to have Wednesday evening, April 23rd, set aside on your calendar as Books of Wonder brings you SIX talented authors of teen fiction from three different genres! Beginning at 6pm, the panel will engage in a new event format in which they will play a Q&A game that pits their characters in unlikely scenarios.
Representing teen fantasy fiction are author LEAH CYPESS, who delivers Death Sworn, a dangerous and eerie tale of a young sorceress, murder, shocking discoveries, and fiery star-crossed romance; AND author MARIE RUTKOSKI casts The Winner’s Curse, the story of deadly games where everything is at stake, and the gamble is whether you will keep your head or lose your heart.
Representing contemporary teen fiction are author ELIZABETH EULBERG, who sharesBetter Off Friends, a story that ponders the age-old question of whether or not guys and girls can ever really be just friends. Or are they always one fight away from not speaking again — and one kiss away from true love?; AND author LAURIE BOYLE CROMPTON tunes us in to The Real Prom Queens of Westfield High, the story of a girl who no one expects to be prom queen and the reality TV show which puts her in the spotlight.
And representing science fiction are author A.J. PAQUETTE, who thrills with Parodox, the other-worldy tale of a teen girl who awakens on a foreign planet, and must figure out how to survive; AND author ELIZABETH NORRIS crack the cover of Unbreakable, a fast-paced tale of intergalactic human trafficking and love story which spans the cosmos.
Teen readers will not want to miss these talented authors conjure answers to the new and exciting questions that are sure to be asked. Beginning at 6pm, this talented and wide ranging panel will present their books, engage each other and the audience in a lively discussion, and sign copies of all their wonderful books. Ages 12-16.
