There are some people that the world will never forget; people who remind us that one person can forever change the course of history. On Friday, March 21st, Books of Wonder will celebrate the memory of Indian independence leader Mahatma Gandhi, and American Civil Rights leader Malcolm X, as we welcome the authors of two new picture book biographies — who are direct descendants of these renowned leaders.
Join us as author ILYASAH SHABAZZ, the daughter of Malcolm X, presents her new biographical picture book about her father’s childhood, Malcolm Little: The Boy Who Grew Up to Become Malcolm X.
